TRAVIS CARPENTER , Driver

DAN TROUT, Spotter

Travis is currently driving the official 4405 MFS "Land-Use" buggy which was masterfully built in 2008 by Dan Trout of Fishmouth Fabworks in Sacramento CA. Considered one of the best fabricators in the sport, Dan has built a buggy that immediately draws attention from people. At a recent parade in which Travis ran the buggy for the Friends of Eldorado, it drew a crowd of people from outside the sport  before and after the parade who were impressed with the craftsmanship. This buggy is a work of art. The buggy has also been on display for educational and pro-access events and workparties in order to educate people about trail stweardship and proper OHV use.

Travis has run in the CalROCS Series and also runs the buggy on club runs through out the year. In Addition to CalROCS, Travis will run the buggy in many other series and events thoughout 1020

Travis’s buggy is currently being prepared for the 2010 KOH race by Motorsport Fabrication Services. (MFS)

  • JEREMY HENGL, DRIVER

    ROB COOK, SPOTTER

Jeremy Hengl runs in the Pro Trail class (now called "Super Mod") in the CalROCS series. Last year he placed second overall in that class in CalROCS. An extremely experienced driver with over ten years of rock-crawling experience, Jeremy is a crowd favorite with his fearless, “insane, no brain” style of driving, and he draws a fairly large crowd of onlookers at every event.  He is an action photographer’s dream, often pushing his rig to the limit.

Finishing very well in the Nor-Cal Rock Racing series, Jeremy will focus more in 2010 on rock racinf events for the team,

While the OV Rock Sports team competes to win all the time, in this type of motorsport, winning does not always mean exposure in magazines. Often photographers focus on the vehicles that end up in the most extreme positions. Jeremy Hengl delivers that in nearly every competition

BRIAN TILTON, Driver

CRAIG BAUM, Spotter

Brian Tilton has become a main-stay in the CalROCS series. He has a very calculated style of driving and tends to “think through” the lines of a course instead of blasting his way through them like many other drivers with less patience.

Well spoken and extremely articulate, announcers at events seem drawn to Brian and for that reason he is almost always interviewed during competitions.  Brian understands that his job is to not only be competitive, but to be a spokesman for our sponsors.

Brian is currently preparing to run in the 2010 Last Chance Qualifier for the King of the Hammers.
