Dr. Ehsan Kiani of the Islamabad Jeep Club in Pakistan has closely followed the 4405 "land-use" buggy and it's efforts in educating OHV enthusiasts in responsible OHV recreation in the United States. When the original 4405 buggy was burned to the ground, Dr. Kiani donated hand-stamped 4405 metal plates to the new build. Honored and humbled by a donation to the 4405 from the complete opposite side of the world, the 4405 team has welded the plates permanently to the new 4405 race vehicle.
In August of 2010, Pakistan was ravaged by floods which claimed over 1,200 lives, leveled complete villages and displaced nearly 2 million Pakistanis. Instantly, the Islamabad jeep club sprang to action and helped with the relief effort by starting the "Flood Relief Intiative".
Inspired by the efforts of the 4405 "land-use" buggy in the United States, Dr. Kiani and his brother Suhaib modeled their 4x4 vehicle that they were building for off road rallies after the 4405. Dubbed the Concordia, the vehicle will be used in much the same way as the 4405 is in the United States, just with a slightly different mission: to raise awareness of the devastating floods and the relief efforts.
The 4405 team is proud to have the Concordia Relief Race as our "Sister Rig" in Pakistan.

Team Concordia and Team 4405 are currently working on several projects to exchange fabrication skills and knowledge between Pakistani and American 4x4 enthusiasts.
The teams are currently seeking grant funding to make these projects a reality.
